Mental Wellness Matters: A Creative Tech Boost for Students

Help me give my students an iPad and other essential tools to support their focus, creativity, and mental well-being in the classroom.

My Project

I love my students for their resilience, creativity, and heart. Every single day, they walk into class carrying not just their notebooks, books, and Chromebooks, but also their personal struggles, some with focus, others with anxiety, and many with the silent stress that comes from navigating tough situations at home or in life. What makes them truly special is their strength: they keep showing up, eager to learn, to laugh, and to connect. I see their potential, and I want to support them in ways that go beyond just academics.

That is why I am requesting an Apple iPad and Apple Pencil, not just as classroom tools, but as a way to support their emotional well-being and learning.

These resources will allow students to draw, reflect, write, and explore calming activities when the day gets overwhelming. With apps that support mindfulness and creativity, the iPad gives them a quiet outlet when they need it most. The Apple Pencil lets them express thoughts through sketches, journals, or notes, especially helpful for students who find typing or speaking difficult in the moment. It is not just about having technology; it is about giving them the right kind of technology to help them breathe, focus, and feel seen.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom where mental wellness and learning go hand in hand. A space where students know it is okay to pause, to feel, and to try again. With your support, we can give them more than just tools; we can give them the calm, confidence, and creativity they need to thrive. Thank you for helping make that possible.
