My Project

High school can feel stressful and the pressure can feel overwhelming both academically and socially. My goal is to create for the students that I interact with an environment that promotes character building, empathy, and resilience as these are the tools that will help them to be successful.

My students are special because they all have the potential to be successful, passionate, and caring of others.

I would love to see my students blossom to their full potential which requires emotional regulation. Regulation can be hard to navigate and items such as Butterfly Clutch Tie Tacks, all Mini Envelopes and assorted Note Cards/Greeting Cards, Key Ring with Chain and Open Jump Rings, LEOBRO keychain, key Rings and keychain Clip, Satin Rattail Cord, Anezus Black Nylon Cord Silky Trim Beading String will be used for art projects of KINDNESS, INCLUSIVITY, and ACCEPTANCE which students will make, keep, or pass to fellow students.

Ball jars with lids/note cards, and SWATOM Kraft Paper Blank Bookmarks Cardstock will be utilized by students to create gratitude jars, reminders of the things in their lives that they are grateful for, and inspirational goal setting. EXPO markers, Funrous 100 Pieces Motivational Pencils Bulk Fun Pencils, Positive motivational words stickers, Anxiety Sensory Stickers, Mindfulness Relief Calm Stickers, and Breath Calm Stickers will be used in projects to promote healthy coping tools and build positive affirmation skills. Wall decorations of growth mindset, inspirational diversity, mental health, and motivation are to provide daily visual cues on the walls for student’s personal reflection and self-growth.
