This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm a social social worker at a title one school in Lakewood, our students benefit from books, games and coping strategies to learn how to identify their feelings, learn new patterns and engage with their peers. I work with students individually and in groups, these materials will be used daily. We also have two autism classrooms and these books and materials will help those students learn how to engage with others and learn new skills. I like to collaborate with teachers and let them use my materials in their classrooms as well.
