My Project
Many of our students face significant challenges related to their basic needs at home and school. Providing reusable water bottles, warm fleece tops, and grocery bags for weekend snacks can significantly reduce stress that interferes with their ability to learn. When students are warm, hydrated, and nourished, they are better prepared to engage in their education, manage their emotions, and tackle daily challenges.
Our student population is predominantly made up of students of color, with many experiencing homelessness.
Every small step we take to support them can make a crucial difference in their ability to navigate each day, week, month, and school year. By addressing these fundamental needs, we are not just helping them survive; we are empowering them to thrive academically and personally. Your support can help us create a more equitable and nurturing environment for all our students.
