Mental Health Matters!

Help me give my students the tools to strengthen their mental well-being, both during therapy within our clinic walls as well as outside in the high school setting.

My Project

20% of adolescents may experience a mental health problem in any given year [WHO (2003)]. Licensed social workers as well as a board certified nurse practitioner in our school based health clinic encounter these students routinely. Whether mitigating a crisis situation or continuing on a stable path, our providers are always willing to help a student in need.

Our goal is to educate every student that health is more than the absence of illness or disease; it is a place of complete mental, physical, as well as social well-being.

The supplies on our list will be utilized during clinic appointments as well as to help promote mental health awareness and our available services to the high school community.
