This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have great kids, but let’s be serious, sometimes they need a little extra motivation and encouragement to feel seen and recognized when they are struggling or when they reach big goals!

Being a Title I school, it is hard to get my students all of the things that I would like to make this room clean, motivating, engaging, tidy, and comfortable and that’s where I sincerely and graciously ask for your help!

Mental health matters, especially during these times and kids need to be pushed to excel even more. They need snacks. They always work hard and sadly sometimes, it may be the only thing they eat that day. Some families can not afford lotion and deodorant wipes and those children now have to come to school and feel self conscious. If I am funded, I will make sure those things won’t happen.
