Mental Health Is Important in Learning!

Help me give my students the equipment they need to help regulate their sensory and mental health needs!

My Project

My students would greatly benefit from sensory items in our classroom. The more calm and relaxed students are, the more learning can take place. Creating a calm classroom will help with regulating emotions, help with behavior, create an atmosphere that students want to come to and want to learn in.

Students with autism are even more susceptible to the needs of sensory input to help control their mental well-being.

All of my students are on the autism spectrum. They come to school with needs above and beyond those of a general education student. Their mental health is so important in their quest to learn in the school setting.
