This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Entering high school after COVID-19 online learning has been overwhelming for students. Taking Cambridge and other accelerated courses at the high school level add to their stress. Stress management can be maintained with the right tools. This school year, mental health exercises such as wellness breaks are useful, yet my classroom lacks resources to effectively assist students.

By supporting my classroom, you will provide mental health tools such as stress balls and snacks for wellness breaks.

The stress balls are supportive for mental health. Students would be able to take mindful minutes to take a break from rigorous academic learning by engaging in mental health exercises and snack breaks.
