This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the past year and a half, our students' mental health has shown a decline. This is due to a lack of interaction with their peers as well as a lack of interaction with family members. We can not expect our students to be successful academically if they have something else on their minds.

Students need help understanding the emotions they are feeling and our job as educators are to help them navigate those hard feelings.

These materials and books will help aid the learning of the student's emotions as well as create space for students to grow in their mental health awareness.
