Mental Health and Physical Wealth Through Basketball
Help me give my students basketball jerseys and water bottles! We have an excellent group of student athletes who want to continuously improve their mental health and physical health through our basketball community!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am looking to provide jerseys and water bottles to our student athletes at my Title 1 School (Bayard Rustin Educational Complex in NYC). The reversible jerseys will allow us to foster healthy competition among student athletes, alleviating them of mental grind of the school day! Water bottles will ensure that all student athletes are properly hydrated during competition.
Our students participate on a basketball team as well as other intra-school competitions.
We find that participation on our team and in our basketball program greatly correlates to improved mental health in our student athletes. It's a much needed outlet that they look forward to!
