My Project

This project aims to integrate mental health coping tools and diverse literary stories to support a diverse high school classroom.

Students will explore mental health strategies through interactive workshops and activities, enabling them to manage stress and emotions effectively.

Simultaneously, they'll read and discuss stories from diverse authors, fostering cultural understanding and empathy. Tools like journaling, mindfulness apps, and group discussions will be utilized. The goal is to create a supportive environment where students appreciate cultural diversity and develop essential mental health skills.

Students learn best when they feel safe and appreciated.
