This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our initiative, Mental and Physical Health, is designed to make wellness resources accessible and meaningful for students. We're focusing on practical items that students can seamlessly incorporate into their daily school routines, enhancing both mental and physical health. The project will provide items such as Apple AirPods and Sony In-Ear Earbud Headphones, allowing students to listen privately to mental health podcasts, relaxation apps, and calming music. This feature aims to help students, particularly those with learning challenges, manage stress and foster focus by creating moments of calm amidst their busy days.

We aim to improve students' mental and physical well-being with essentials that support small but impactful wellness habits.

Stanley Quenchers will promote regular hydration, which is crucial for maintaining cognitive function and energy for our group of student with learning challenges. BIC Xtra-Precision Mechanical Pencils will support creative expression through art and journaling, providing a space for self-reflection and emotional release. Lastly, the VEVOR Button Maker Machine will let students create personalized buttons with mental health awareness messages, encouraging a supportive and inclusive school culture. Together, these resources will cultivate a nurturing environment that supports both academic success and personal growth.
