This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With all that is going on in the world my students are feeling more and more stressed. Covid-19 has not helped with their coping abilities. Many of my students are acting out or miss behaving in class because they are overwhelmed but lack the opportunity to have a place to calm down. I am creating a classroom that students can come to during recess time or after school. This room will focus on 3 of the 5 senses for maximum relaxation. the NewMe Fitness Yoga Mat for Women and Men have yoga posses on them for easy access for students. The Wahl Heated Therapeutic Shiatsu Body Massaging Wrap is designed to feel like a warm hug. The Ultimate Aromatherapy Diffuser & Essential Oil Set will help trigger the mental feeling of relaxation the moment they walk into the room through the sense of smell.
