My Project

My students are challenged to read 40 books each school year. They need books in their Lexile range that will help to support fluency, comprehension, and expand their views on literature! MENSA for Kids is a great list for them to draw from. The books I am requesting are off of the list they can read from to submit for a MENSA for Kids Tshirt once they've read several of these titles!

Gifted students need these books to be challenged in their reading endeavors.

They'll access these books in my classroom and share what they've read by creating book review videos that other students can view for years to come! Best of yet, they'll be able to not only submit them for the MESA for Kids program, but include them on their 40 Book Challenge. This grant will inspire them to become better readers!
