My Project

My students are eager to share all things writing! We break down sentences' structure, identify parts of speech, and wow readers with our revisions. Our board is at the hands of my students.

Whether it's displaying how they revised a phrase or constructed a sentence, they are always leaving their mark in my class.

Unfortunately, their marks truly never leave. Our class whiteboard has seen better days. This shower wall material was screwed onto a chalk board and left to fend for itself. As payback, once you write something, it won't forget. It is currently sporting the name of our last substitute teacher. When you are ready to add a new thought, it takes 3 Clorox wipes to get the marking to fade (barely). There is no such thing as enough elbow grease for this tough cookie! The board I selected ensures that each class period can start afresh and share their own ideas, not ones that were left behind from the last hour. Students for years to come will be able to showcase their creativity and help others to grow as writers with a whiteboard that can be brand new with one swipe.
