This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have had a rough high school career with COVID and online school. Students had to isolate themselves and be away from their classmates and friends. Since coming back to a new school year and coming to in-person full time, our yearbook class wants to make sure students never forget their high school career. With that said, we have had our cameras for over 7 years. The old cameras are slow and they don’t capture action shots as clear anymore.
With your donation, you will be able to help provide us one new camera to help create lasting memories for our students.
Along with the camera, we would also like to have a classroom microwave. This will also allow my students to be able to have warm food for breakfast or lunch.
