This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We aim to celebrate the short and long term goals of all our students. Our parents have entrusted us to provide an enriching education to their most precious jewels. While being in our program our students have discovered their aspirations and dreams through many different forms. It is our mission that our students will continue to pursue their dreams as they transition from middle school to high school. Knowledge is power and our children reach for the stars every day!
The Class of 2021 is a special group of young scholars who have been equipped with the proper tools, strategies, and lots of love to venture on to their next chapter in life.
I have watched this group grow since they arrived in sixth grade. This group arrived during my first year as a teacher. It has been my honor to teach them for these past years and each student deserves a beautiful parting gift for graduation.
My Project
These materials will be presented as a gift for the graduating class of 2021. This gift will be composed of school supplies, personal care items, and a fun card game to help them venture onto their newly achieved milestone, high school. These school supplies are greatly needed by our students to be able to have a successful send-off onto high school.
Through this gift, it is our goal to sustain a level of motivation by providing our students with the necessary tools to succeed.
We are acknowledging our students' dedication and willingness to persevere, through the normal struggles of today's society with the addition of the unique obstacle that is COVID-19. It is my personal mission to make it great and memorable for our graduates.
