This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items that have been requested will greatly benefit the children that I serve. Their needs will be met by offering a variety of objects that they can choose from to work for. This includes a variety of seating options that will meet their sensory needs. Most of my students come to me hungry. That basic need has to be met before any behavior issues or learning can happen.

The goal of this project is to shape behavior so that the fun of learning can begin.

Special needs children can learn, and they really want to learn! They just need some extra help. This includes giving them food to fuel the brain and giving them sensory items to calm them. Then the joy of learning can begin.
