Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a special education preschool teacher, I am constantly feeding students, cleaning up their messes, and patching up scraped knees.
The materials in this project will help me maintain a safe, and clean learning environment for all of my students.
Young children are eating regularly. The apple slicer will help teachers slice apples, and pears that the cafeteria serves for breakfast. Oftentimes, we have had students who struggle to bite into their fruits.
The knife and cutting board will be used to cut up oranges, and avocados. The broom and dustpan will be used to sweep up messes, and the first aide kit will help prevent students from visiting the nurse.
