My Students
My students are English language learners who strive to excel in all aspects of education even with their language barrier. They are truly motivated and dedicated to learning English and thriving in the classroom. My goal is to give students the opportunities to overcome adversities that are unnecessarily presented in the classroom. My students are questioners and creators who will shape our future. I want to provide my students with meaningful language learning experiences to help them become leaders of their own learning.
My Project
My students are English Language Learners that try their best to read, write, speak, and listen in English. Due to the pandemic, many of my students have missed countless days at school, as well as had to learn virtually during core academic years.
My students are unique and have different strengths, and I want to help them achieve their goals.
That is why I want to use the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to individualize students' work, as well as allow for opportunities for growth. The gift cards will allow me to purchase materials specialized for centers, individual interventions, games, practice, as well as PowerPoints that support our new ELA curriculum.
Having these materials already prepared gives me more time to focus on delivering quality instruction that focuses on students' strengths to continue building their knowledge.
