This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Sensory needs are a way we work with getting students engaged and help regulate their stimulation.
My students have different disabilities from Down syndrome to autism.
All of my students have fun learning through hands-on activities. Getting their hands dirty and moving is the way we get our students to learn.
Donating to our project and providing a water and sand table, will help us achieve some of their IEP goals with tolerance and staying focused on a task for a certain period of time.
