My Project

I teach an amazing group of K–3 students in a special education classroom where every child learns in their own unique way. My students face a variety of challenges, some are sensory-seeking, some need help focusing, and all benefit from a classroom that adapts to their individual needs. Many students come from homes impacted by poverty, and our school works hard every day to meet both academic and emotional needs with limited resources.

I’m seeking sensory items, learning tools, and flexible seating options that will allow my students to learn in a way that feels safe, comfortable, and engaging.

These materials will help me meet my students where they are by supporting not just their education, but also their emotional and physical well-being.
