Meeting Individual Needs

Help me give my students headphones, calculators, erasers and other tools to meet their individual accommodations and needs

My Project

This project provides the tools that my special education students need in order to meet their individual needs and accommodations based on their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Students need headphones and calculators in order to participate in state testing.

Additionally, noise cancelling headphones allow students with Autism to tune of overstimulating noises and those with ADHD to cancel out the noise to increase their focus. Fidgets, stress balls, and stuffed animals help students self-regulate in order to stay out of trouble and in the classroom.

Many times, these tools do not stand up for use over one school year, so they are in continuing need for these students.
