My Students

Our students here at my school are eager and willing to learn! We teach at a low-income school with almost the entire school population receiving free or reduced-price lunches. They have the biggest hearts but sometimes do not show it in the best of ways. Our students do work hard and are super excited to learn and to grow. They come to school to be loved and we are here to do just that! We also strive to give them the best education by finding a lot of different ways to teach and to learn. I also think that these students deserve more than they have, which is why I chose to work and stay here!

My Project

In our classroom, we need a general meeting area, and I found this rug to be perfect! It's big enough to fit all of my classes, K-5th grade.

The rug does not only allow us to all meet in our general location in front of our classroom, but it also gives us our own space to sit on.

I think that this rug would be very beneficial for all of us in the room. We always come into my room and meet on the floor, and the younger students would love to sit in a square!
