This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am in desperate need of a classroom rug to maximize the effectiveness of my lessons! I currently have two different sized small rugs put together to try and make a big enough rug for my students. They are constantly sliding all over the place, my students trip over the edges where they connect and there is still not enough space for all of my students, they are on top of each other. With flexible seating such as wobble cushions, my students will also have somewhere to sit in the classroom besides being on the rug and can work around the room.

I will be able to create new learning spaces and make their materials more accessible.

It will allow for all of my students to have a space where they are able to communicate and access the information and lessons without being crowded. It also gives them the opportunity to use flexible seating around the classroom and have more space.
