My students are at the heart of everything I do. I focus toward building on their strengths because I believe every child can thrive when given the right tools, support, and encouragement.
Many of our students come from low-income, single-parent homes and do not have access to preschool. These early disadvantages often delay language development and limit the kinds of experiences that help children communicate, connect, and succeed. That’s where my work comes in. While I can't control what happens outside our school community, I can create a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment that meets their needs and inspires their growth. We will weave language development into playful, engaging, collaborative, socially rich experiences by making every moment count.
Your donation will help provide flexible seating and headphones to create cozy, focused spaces for reading and learning. Dramatic play materials, STEM activities, collaborative games, and interactive books that foster communication, imagination, and teamwork.
This will give the students opportunities to strengthen receptive and expressive language, social-emotional learning (turn taking, sharing, empathy) and appropriate communication strategies that build confidence and friendships.
