This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love about my students the most is that they always try their best to make their parents proud. Thriving to succeed is what makes them special.
The material will make a difference in their learning because it will allow them to create meaningful projects on topics we study.
Students will create projects like Smash Doodles after reading a short story. A Smash Doodle is a journal-like page that falls somewhere between scrapbook and doodle notes. Students will also have the opportunity to create brochures with important information on topics like Global Warning and other issues that are currently impacting our lives. The donation will assist me in ensuring students have the necessary materials to use their creativity and produce meaningful projects.
