This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of my biggest challenges in my classroom is sustaining scholar’s attention. Students need movement approximately every nine minutes. With that said, my instruction alternates between scholar’s tables, the rug and my small group table. I have had to move classrooms and my current rug is incredibly too large for my new space. I’m in the process of creating a space for scholars to be successful and providing opportunities with movement helps maintain focus where optimal learning can happen! By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
