This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Sister's Keeper is all about female empowerment for young women of color. McKee High School's MSK is continuing our community service project of monthly readings at Richmond Pre-K for all students.
Our goals are to promote literacy & build relationships, but more importantly we are exposing the little kids to young women of color who are positive role models!
We want them to see these young adults in leadership positions, so they know what is possible in their futures. The impact could be lifelong!
By donating, you are helping us to get our books that we will read every month to the little kids! These books get donated directly to the classrooms. Thank you for all the support!
