Our school is an amazing place full of incredibly talented students. We are a performing arts based school, which supports our students in pursuing their creative endeavors. We have dancers, singers, musicians and even actors and actresses from every walk of life. The guiding principles of character and leadership are ever present in my students. To say I have both compassionate and motivated students would be an understatement.
My Project
Disc golf is an amazing sport that requires, strategy, perseverance and constant correction. We want to build a 9-hole course on the wooded area adjacent to our PE fields. This course would have multiple elevations and various hole distances to provide both a challenging and rewarding experience for new disc golfers. We would have an additional 3-hole practice area for beginners to learn the basics of disc golf before heading out on the course.
Disc golf is an amazing sport that not only teaches students the etiquette of the game, but it allows them the ability to fail and make adjustments to experience success.
It can also be used in a team setting to build foundation teamwork skills.
