Many of my students are very picky eaters. They don't always eat everything on the menu for breakfast and/or lunch. My students are often hungry throughout the day because their lunchtime is so early. Cereal bars, crackers, cookies and other snacks would be great for my students to have when they need something to snack on when they are hungry.
The snacks can boost their energy level for learning, enable the students to become more engaged in classroom activities, help students to grow and develop more skills in the classroom, and promote fewer behavior problems during classroom instruction.
My students really love snacks, and they would really appreciate having something to snack on when they are hungry. If we can give them the smallest thing like a snack before or after lunch, they will be able to keep up their energy and learn even more in the exhausting afternoons during class instruction. These snacks will also be used as rewards for work well done, attendance, behavior and just for being awesome.
