This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Whenever, I get asked, "May I please have a snack?" I want to be able to say, "Yes!" This project will provide me with a variety of healthy snacks for students who are hungry during recess or after school. Some of our students stay at the after-school program until 6 p.m.
When students feel hungry during the day, they have trouble focusing on learning.
The goal of this project is to ensure that our students feel cared for and comfortable enough to ask for a snack instead of going hungry. We want our students to feel connected to us and to advocate for their needs.
