Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My student are energetic and full of creativity with amazing ideas. They are self-motivated, gifted and talented students who are genuinely concerned about academic excellence. Many of my students express interest in pursuing careers in the STEM fields such as civil engineering, electrical engineering and coding. They thrive in hands-on engineering project activities as they sharpen each other with their interactions. The students challenge each other as they hold themselves accountable to the motto of our school, "To much is given...much is required."
My Project
The products I chose will help our students take ownership of their learning. It is important for the students to document and keep track of their progress throughout the school year. The file folders and paper will help them organize their classwork and assessments efficiently.
Oftentimes valuable instructional time is spent addressing the needs of students who are unable to secure basic classroom supplies such as sharpened pencils and paper.
The pencils and pencil sharpener will allow them to focus on the assignments without delay.
The classroom timer is a classroom management tool that will help the students stay on task.
