This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Most children in my classroom come from low-income households. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. They are truly an incredible group and have adjusted to our new learning adaptions that we currently have. Additionally, we follow strict guidelines based on CDC protocols . I am so lucky and thankful to have a this group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

My campus serves low income students. Most of my students do not have headphones to use for instructional purposes.

Everyday students work independently on their instructional learning program for about 20-30 minutes daily.

Students instructional levels range from below to at grade level. By providing my students with headphones they will maximize their learning experience because other students will not be able to hear or listen to their lesson. This will be empowering for them, because they will feel more comfortable in completing their instructional online learning program without the noise distractions within the classroom.
