Matter is Everywhere

My students need a freezer for our study of matter and to maintain specimens when we study life science.

My Students

What's the matter? Solid, liquid, and gas! The students learn best by doing experiments, and they need a freezer so that they can study matter in three states, in a hands-on manner. A freezer in our classroom would help us to study matter in solid form and preserve specimens for life science study.

We are a new Charter School located in New York.

We are classified as a Title One School. The students are from diverse backgrounds. In addition, all students are educated at our school, including those living with emotional challenges as well as learning disabilities.

My Project

This resource will change many students' lives for the better for many years to come. They can learn science from a book, but it is much more meaningful and real if the learning comes from DOING. This will help us with many hands-on experiments, from physics to life science.

Donations to this request will make a difference.

Our classroom could really use this resource for so many different learning experiences. When the students enter the room, their first question is,"Are we doing a lab today?" They love experimenting, and this will help them learn and do what they love.
