My Project
Did you know that children's first experiences with numbers will influence the way they deal with mathematics for the rest of their lives? Students today spend far too much time on computers and not nearly enough time interacting with math authentically. My students do not have experience playing games that will propel their mathematical thinking.
I need help keeping my students off their devices so they can learn math in authentic, powerful ways.
I am requesting math games so that my students are "doing" math in meaningful ways by building and taking apart numbers using real objects and connecting math to the real world.
Your help will ensure that my students are having fun during math while also developing a solid foundation of mathematical concepts and essential ideas that are critical to their future success.
