My students live in an out of the way town in Alaska. Many are Alaska natives with a strong sense of culture and pride. Although our community is lucky to be surrounded by nature, we are a Tier One, low-income school.
It is important for students to have a deep love of learning to encourage future lifelong learners!

My Project
Whether it is with graph paper, games, or flash cards, there are many ways for children to improve their Math skills in the classroom. Students often need basic materials such as pencils and graph paper that are not always provided by the school otherwise. This project will allow students to focus on their studies and being better students instead of worrying about supplies.
I know that with this project students will not only learn Math, but they will also have fun doing it!
These materials are integral in giving students the absolute best opportunities for learning Mathematics in the classroom.
