This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I plan on using this project to help my students comprehend math in a fun and engaging way. My students age group are between 4 and 5 so most subjects I introduce to through are mainly through play. The shape sorter will exercise their fine motor and color skills as well as they sort each shape by their size. The cash register machine will give them a authentic view on money and the value towards it. These materials and more will be use during free play, small group, and homework activities to continue their growth on understanding math and the necessities that comes along with it
