This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Mathematicians create resolutions to the world's quandaries through data collection, recording findings and drafting models. Our 6th grade students explore math concepts by applying multiple methods of modeling and notating key components in math problems.

Students express mathematical fluency in written and computational format.

Writing materials provide them with the essential tools they need to articulate correct responses and guide them through the journeys taken along the way to positive results. These instruments will afford them the opportunity to organize their thoughts on paper during instruction and work on their own. Ensuring that every student has access to these basic writing accessories is paramount to their learning.
