An adjustable standup/ sit down desk would create a special place in the classroom for students when they collaborate on projects that uses mathematics to solve real world problems.
Large chart paper, regular size paper or multiple small pieces of paper……students would be able to adjust the desk to fit the size of the project they are working on.
Sitting and working for 90 minutes can be difficult for students. The stand up/sit down desk gives students that are working together an option for a healthier alternative. They can stay active while collaborating.
