This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The cubby unit we are seeking would be perfect for our math workbooks, manipulatives, math games, and other resources we use daily. The place where we currently put these items is falling apart and isn't ample enough for all of the required materials throughout the school year.
In my classroom this cubby would make a difference by making transitions from one activity to another smoother and would allow for proper storage that's efficient and organized.
My students and myself would be so grateful for this quality cubby. You would also be impacting students for years to come year after year.
We are one of four dual language schools in Boston. Our students learn content in both English and Spanish! My students are special because this makes them multilingual, multicultural, and biliterate. They are curious, hard-working, individuals that learn not just from content, but also from the world around them.
