This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As an inclusion kindergarten teacher, I am constantly looking for materials to help students develop and grow throughout the school year. This has been challenging with the school's limited funding for supplies.

We are a classroom of 20 friendly and curious learners from various ethnic backgrounds facing challenges, including poverty and developmental delays.

Despite these hurdles, my students arrive every morning eager to learn new concepts.

Let's ensure that my students reach their full potential through age appropriate math materials!

My Project

My students need math manipulatives and games that focus on number formation, patterns, addition, and subtraction. Students will use these materials to explore their ability through building, counting, and measuring, during the Math Center block. They will be able to use these manipulatives during our whole group and small group time, as they make numbers, match numbers to quantities, and explore several Kindergarten math skills.

Your generous donation to our project will improve our Kindergarten classroom by building stronger mathematicians.

This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and feel success at an early age-having fun while learning!
