Mathematicians Need Manipulatives!

Help me give my students the math manipulatives they need to be successful in first grade.

My Project

My goal for this project is to put the manipulatives my students need in their hands. These manipulatives will help them work cooperatively with other students to build their understanding of first grade math concepts. The magnetic white boards will be used at their table along with the tens and ones manipulatives to help students build the numbers so their understanding of place value soars. They will also be able to use those to add two digit numbers. The coins can also be used in a similar way where students work together to put together the correct amount of coins to make a certain total. My students began the year with a goal to become mathematicians. Please help me make their goal a reality!
