Math is around us everyday and students need engaging fun tools to help them see that. Math mats are a fun tool to build numeracy skills. Students will have to time work in small groups. Working in small groups will help students to have a strong foundation in math. One of my favorite math tools are building bricks. Students will be able to play while learning. As students will be coming back to school face to face having tools that are fun will have all my students saying they are mathematicians.
