This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of manipulatives during math is essential for student learning. Our 2nd grade math standards cover money and shapes. The cash registers will allow my students to have a deeper understanding of money and make connections to the real world.
Help my students have access to these manipulatives to help increase their curiosity and engagement during math time.
The doodle pads will a bonus during math time. The students will be engaged and excited to write their math problems on the doodle pad versus a pencil and paper. The 3D shapes will allow my students to have concrete objects they can hold which can help students with visual learning. Please help me provide these manipulatives to my students!
