it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Math is an interesting subject in third grade! Students are exposed to new concepts they haven't learned before, like multiplication, division, and fractions. Since third grade is very important when it comes to math skills, it is crucial for students to understand and master these math skills this year! That is where this project comes into the picture.
This project is seeking math workbooks, as well as tools that will be used for students to practice the math standards this school year!
My project has a single-digit multiplication book, a division book, an addition/subtraction book, as well as double times single-digit multiplication. I can use these workbooks to print off worksheets, packets, and activities for students to work on in groups, partners, or by themselves. It also helps me out because I have the resources at the tips of my fingers, where I don't have to find the materials needed online. My project is also seeking adhesive magnetic squares for students to practice activities on the white board. Along with learning the concepts in math, students learn academic vocabulary as well. It is valuable that students use the vocabulary when solving the problems, and being able to print words off and put the magnets on the back comes in handy for students when practicing using the words. I also have magnetic dry erase labels included for another way for students to practice academic vocabulary during activities. They can write the words as they are using the labels during math, and even reading and science time! The last item on my list is lamination sheets. I can print off activities and laminate them for multiple uses. This makes it easier for us to keep our resources and reuse them over and over again! Thank you for reading about this!
