My Students
Allgood Elementary is a Title one school. All of our students receive free and reduced lunch. The age range of my students is nine to ten years old. Our students work hard through difficult circumstances. I have around seven ESOL students who benefit from learning with pictures and hands on activities. Other students have special needs and speech class. Some of our students are involved in the Discovery Program which support higher gifted learners. In order to meet the needs of our students, we need your support.
My Project
If you donate to our students they will continue to stay engaged in the many activities I plan each week. I have come out of pocket many times to give these title one students (who live in a poverty stricken areas) a chance to compete with privaleged students.
The headphones will help because I subscribe to a website that gives students practice with math, science, reading, and writing.
The Solar System tub is needed because we have started our austronomy unit in science, the tub gives the students hands on activities that address kinesthetic learners. The Power Pens are another engaging resource to keep students interested in learning and testing.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
