it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, students' accessibility to math manipulatives in the classroom is crucial to making math clearer to understand! When learning a new strategy or topic, students love and anticipate using manipulatives. These materials will enable my students to engage in my everyday classroom and Math Support class.
Math manipulatives are important in increasing my students' engagement with fractions, especially how fractions connect with the real world.
Students can easily understand mathematical concepts and methods with the aid of math manipulatives. These manipulatives will supplement my students' learning in order for them to tackle the difficult unit of learning fraction division and recognizing equivalent fractions!
In addition to these math manipulatives, I am asking for extra back-to-school supplies to further enrich my students' learning: new prizes for our classroom prize bin, fresh headphone pouches to organize our class set of headphones, and more bookstands to highlight our classroom library books available for check-out. Your support will help our students set themselves up for a successful first-year of middle school.
