Help me give my students the tools to develop and strengthen foundational math skills. Self teaching math machines, Power Pens Quizzes and flash cards will help students work independently to practice and check their understanding.

My Project
My students are awesome and need more math tools geared towards their diverse needs. I teach 28 students in a 3rd Grade Title I elementary setting in Flatbush, Brooklyn. My students love learning, but some have limited support and have fallen behind because of the pandemic. It's time to catch up and move ahead. The tools that I have selected will help my students do just that. They are all self teaching, self monitoring and can be done independently to build confidence and skill in key areas: number recognition, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division fluency. With these building blocks in place, students can rise to meet the challenges of the third grade curriculum and have the tools at their fingertips to help them persevere through their challenges.
