My Project
My students are amazing mathematicians who thrive when learning cooperatively while being challenged! These vertical dry erase surfaces will allow my students to work cooperatively not only with their group but will also make their thinking visible to all of their classmates. The use of vertical dry erase surfaces is essential to the Building Thinking Classroom model. This model is an approach that gets all students actively thinking, communicating with each other, constructing meaning, and building on their mathematical knowledge through rigorous, engaging math tasks. As their teacher, I want to provide the tools they need to effectively work on these tasks.
